Thousands turned out to welcome the fall season during the third annual Waimea Fall Festival on Oct. 12 at the Waimea District Park.

The fun-filled family festival, hosted by Waimea Athletics, featured a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, horse rides, train rides, inflatable bounce houses and waterslides, keiki games and activities, entertainment, a craft sale, community information booths and exhibits, and lots of great food.

Proceeds from the festival benefit participating nonprofit organizations and local businesses, including sports equipment sponsorships provided by Waimea Athletics for community youth programs and public facilities.
